The 29th of February of 2004, the Rolón Sur, cargo vessel of 616 meters, ran up against a rock, crossing the Great Straits between Ibiza and Formentera, due to strong wind and up to 4 meters waves. After the crew rescue, the priority was given to the fuel removal to avoid possible leaks, by MARKLEEN personnel. Our team was already in operation the same day of the accident.
