ECOSORB® sorbents provide effective solutions for containing oil and chemical spills. These products are ideal for absorbing oil in the presence of water due to the oil absorbing and water repelling properties of their fibres. Supplied in different formats and sizes, they are suitable for multiple applications in industry, transport and emergency services, as well as marine applications. ECOSORB® sorbents absorb up to 20 times their own weight, leading to a considerable saving in terms of storage and disposal in comparison with traditional materials.

ECOSORB® sorbents come in three varieties:

-The OIL series is made of biodegradable vegetable fibre which absorbs oil and repels water.

-The OIL R series is made of polypropylene fibre which absorbs oil and repels water.

-The CHEM series is made of polypropylene fibre which absorbs any kind of liquid and does not disintegrate in contact with aggressive chemicals.
